The process of selecting a radiator that is
suitable for reconditioning is quiet easy we,
* Test the radiator for
* Remove the top tank for internal cleanout
* Reassemble top tank
once parts have been sand blasted & prepped
* Resolder tank, spouts &
* Repair any other obvious leaks that could soon occur
The radiator is then pressure tested
* All fins straightened & then the
radiator is painted.
The biggest problem with radiators
failing is from cracks forming in brass/plastic tanks & the brass radiator
soldered seams cracking between the join of the brass tank & the core.
This can all be fixed & tanks can be replaced on most common vehicles.
